Hi everyone, this week we are hopping with Lawn Fawn, I couldn’t wait to use their adorable stamps to make something festive! I chose to create a little box to house candy canes, these would look good nestled in your Christmas tree or labelled as table favours.
To create the open top box I scored a piece of green card and cut small notches in one end for box folds.
To assemble I used E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable.
To create the box decoration I used the tag from the Lawn Fawn stamp set – Winter Gifts. Stamped in brown onto kraft card and then a sentiment in red. I tucked the tag under a strip of patterned festive paper.
For the all important Christmas sparkle I sprinkled embossing powder over 3D Foam Stars and heat set them. These look lovely layered together.
The finished project – simple and festive and full of treats to eat!
